ALBUQUERQUE DOWNS -- Race 6
(6) LEADEM IN KEN will be tested for distance in this spot, but it is difficult to look past his sparkling record over the course. The son of Sky Mesa has four wins from six starts at Albuquerque, and he comes into the race riding a four-race win streak. He can be tractable but will likely be prominent near the lead under Elvin Gonzalez from his outside post.
(3) HENCE will be looking to overcome a five-race losing streak, including emphatic losses in last year's Grade 1 Haskell Invitational. Needless to say, the field in this spot doesn't look anything like the graded stakes types he'd been facing during this elongated losing streak. He does his best running from far off the pace and could be compromised if the pace doesn't come up swift in here.
(5) PINSON will likely be sent along under Ken Tohill, and comes into this spot in good form, including a stakes win two starts back at Prairie Meadows. The Randy Morse trainee will need to be caught in the lane.
